WSCW 2023 Volunteers of the Year

Mary Rosenberg joined the Woman’s Service Club of Windham in 2012 and immediately joined the outreach program to the V A Medical Center in Manchester. In 2014 she co-chaired the Craft Fair Committee, the Club’s largest fundraiser and most labor intensive volunteer position. Mary joined the Executive Board this year and has been instrumental in helping with the Club’s transition to meeting at the Presbyterian Church. Finally, Mary is a member who is always willing to step up when something needs to be done; often at the last minute.

Aileen Stearns joined the Woman’s Service Club of Windham in 2013 and also joined the outreach program to the V A Medical Center in Manchester that fall. She has been co-chairman of the Raffle Baskets Committee for the Craft Fair for several years. Under her leadership the raffle baskets have raised significantly more money for the Club. She has been an active member of the Executive Board for two years and instrumental in helping with the Club’s transition to meeting in the Presbyterian Church. Like Mary, she is a member who will volunteer to do whatever needs to be done.
