Woman’s Service Club of Windham and Windham Helping Hands Thank You

The Thanksgiving Families Project was a collaborative effort of the Woman’s Service Club of Windham, Windham Helping Hands, and the Windham Fire and Police Departments. The sorting and filling of food boxes for needy families in Windham was completed by volunteers at Searles School and Chapel on Monday, November 21 and Tuesday, November 22.

A heartfelt thank you to the following: American Legion Post 109, Coco Early Associates, and The DiPetro Group for their generous donations; Windham Public Schools and Windham Learning Tree Academy who conducted food drives. Thank you also to Windham Junction for supporting us with cooked turkey dinners.

Polly Chervincky, Patti Letizio, and Cheryl Haas, who coordinated this project, wish to thank all the volunteers who generously gave their time to help make this project a success!
