Richard Hesse on the Founding Fathers

On Wednesday, November 1, Richard Hesse, Professor Emeritus at the UNH School of Law, gave an interesting talk at the Windham Presbyterian Church on the founding fathers. He emphasized the problems faced by the new country and the men in creating a constitution all the states could agree to. He emphasized the real need for compromise, especially between the northern and southern states. This presentation was made possible by a grant from NH Humanities.
