THANKSGIVING BASKETS

THANKSGIVING BASKETS

The Thanksgiving Families Project was a collaborated effort of the Woman’s Service Club of Windham, Windham Helping Hands, and the Windham Fire Department. The sorting and filling of food boxes for needy families in Windham was completed by volunteers at Searles School and Chapel on Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, November 24.

Thank you to the following: American Legion Post 109 and Coco Early Associates for their generous donations; Windham Public Schools and the Wee Care Learning Center who conducted food drives; the residents of Windham Terrace for baking and donating mini loaves of bread. A special thank you to Oriana Raymond, the facilities coordinator of Searles School and Chapel.

Polly Chervincky, Patti Letizio, and Paula Carmichael, who coordinated this project, wish to thank the volunteers who gave their time to help make this project a success!
