Homeless Youth in New Hampshire

On Wednesday, April 6 at the Windham Town Hall, Amy Malone and Joss Birnie from the non-profit Waypoint presented a program to the Woman’s Service Club of Windham about the extent of the homeless youth and housing insecure in New Hampshire. Waypoint services young people ages 12 to 24. They provide a resource center in Manchester where young people can go for food, clothing, access to emergency shelter and more permanent housing options as well as other services which could change the course of their lives. Similar centers will be opening in Concord and Rochester this year. It was a most informative program!
