CANDIDATES NIGHT DATE

In keeping with its decades-long tradition of service to the Town, the Woman’s Service Club of Windham (WSCW) is proud to announce that Candidates Night for 2019 will take place at Town Hall on Thursday, February 14, starting promptly at 7:00 p.m.  The Moderator will be WSCW member, Jean Morrow.

All Windham residents and members of the public are invited to attend and to bring policy questions for candidates’ live responses.  Questions may be planned in advanced, of course, and must be submitted in writing at the event.  The event will also be cablecast live on WCTV.  Light refreshments will be served.

All candidates for Town office will receive a mailed invitation and a copy of the WSCW Candidates Night Guidelines shortly after the close of the candidates’ filing period.

The WSCW plans the Town’s annual Candidates night about six months in advance with the capable assistance of Windham’s Recreation Director, Cheryl Haas, to choose a weekday night that avoids the February school vacation week and conflicts as little as possible with the meeting schedules of Windham’s many town boards and committees — as well as other clubs and organizations that routinely reserve Town Hall throughout the year.
